Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, artist on record and entrepreneur. The award-winning actress has received numerous accolades throughout her professional career. Additionally she has also been recognized for her two Gawad Urian Awards and the eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred numerous television series including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she played Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the popular noontime variety show, It's Time to Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis, born on 17 February, 1985 in Australia, and also the Philippines, is a television actress presenter entrepreneur recording artist. There have been a variety of accolades throughout her career. Two FAMAS Awards have been given to Anne Curtis, as she has won a Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Curtis has been nominated to win the eight PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards, and also for the Gawad Urian Award. Curtis was a part of a number of TV shows including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, Curtis played the famous Komiks Dyesebel character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was engaged to Ojales by 1982. Her younger sibling Jasmine was also an actress. Their father had an older half-sister called Clare died in 2007 at age 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
